Think of this page as your overview. This is where you’ll get updates on key insights and get notices of any outstanding transactions.
Your customizable dashboard is ready to refresh! Now, you can refresh your cash and card balance widgets so you can get an even more real-time view of your financials in a matter of seconds.
Not connected through Plaid? ScaleFactor will use your accounting file’s value to refresh your bank and card account balances.

Have a question or feeling a bit lost? We’ve worked hard to build out our back-office support so you can get the help you need to get the most out of ScaleFactor. Check out a few of the features we added last month to enhance your ScaleFactor experience.
Using the ScaleFactor Help Center, you can now get direct support without having to navigate away. The Help Center enables you to search for and access FAQs, How-Tos, and instructions within the software.
Plus, ScaleFactor now proactively displays helpful articles that are relevant to what you’re working on so you can get the help you need, when you need it.
To access the Help Center, click the orange icon in the bottom right corner. This will take you to the Resource Center pop-up where you’ll find the Help Center and info on New Releases. Click on ‘Help Center’ and you will be able to search for the content you need. Once you find an article that matches your search, click on it and the content of the article will open right in the pop-up.
In addition to the Help Center, we’ve also created Interactive Product Guides that are accessible directly in the software, too. Get step-by-step directions to learn about ScaleFactor’s features and how to use them. These guides are proactively suggested to you based on your first interaction with an important ScaleFactor feature (such as the Dashboard), or when you use a new feature for the first time.
We’re just getting started with these guides! We’ll be building out more content over time to make them even more interactive and beneficial for you.
If you’re not looking for a guide, but rather a quick overview on specific areas of your account, look no further! We’re rolling out ScaleFactor Tooltips to give you the information you need. Tooltips are designed to quickly outline what certain features do and explain why they’re valuable to your back-office needs.
Keep an eye out for these Tooltips in your account as we roll them out.
Upload bills directly to ScaleFactor Bill Pay!
Our new bill upload process is more efficient than email and collects all the information we need to process your bill.
There are a few different ways you can add a new bill:
- Drag and drop a bill
- Upload the bill document directly
- Proceed without a bill and create a payment, instead
You can also add payment preferences so that information is automatically added to the dropdown menu when you go to pay or create a bill.
